Summer Programs
Our goal is for every camper to have an unforgettable experience filled with meaningful moments and joyful memories. Each week is intentionally designed for its age group, offering exciting outdoor activities in a safe, supportive environment. We aim to help kids reach their God-given potential by sharing truth from the Bible and serving them with the love of Christ. We pray every camper experiences a change in heart and life - and that is why “no one leaves the same.”
Most programs are 5-night residential camps from Sunday evening to Friday evening. Campers stay in small cabins (8–10 campers and 2 staffers) with dedicated counselors, creating a close-knit, caring community. With an average of 80 campers per week, New Life Island is large enough for great activities but small enough to know every child by name. Safety, fun, and personal growth are at the heart of everything we do. Join us this summer and see why so many love the Island!
Teen Week:
Ages 13-18
Dates June 28- July 3

During Teen Week, campers are given more individual freedom to choose the activities they are interested in, as well as more opportunities to hang out with friends from other cabins. With some exclusive activities and a later lights out time, Teen Week is sure to provide some fantastic memories. Campers can also expect Bible teaching that will make them think and opportunities to be still and reflect in the presence of the Lord.
Junior High
Ages 11-13

Junior High is a great age for camp! Our Junior High weeks are often the biggest and most exciting weeks of the summer! The programming is a big step up from Junior weeks, including high ropes, downriver tubing, Gel Blasters, archery tag, night games, and NLI's Amazing Race! Junior High campers will continue to learn teamwork and trust, as well as showing the same love to others as God has shown to them. Campers will receive truth from the Bible and be encouraged by the speaker and their counselor to live it out in their own lives. Join us for an unforgettable week!​
Junior Week
Ages 8-10

Junior weeks are full of summer camp classics, including Gaga ball, carpetball, archery, canoeing, water games, and swimming, as well as some New Life Island specialties, like the PBJ relay, riverside hammocks, and Pebble Beach! Juniors get to enjoy plenty of time in the pool, at the Craft Shop, and becoming good friends with their cabin-mates. Our speakers and counselors faithfully teach our campers valuable life lessons, like the importance of teamwork and the vital habits of reading the Bible and living it out, as well as communicating with the Lord through prayer. You can be sure that your child will have a ton of fun, and also learn some very important truths during their time at the Island.
Junior Mini
Ages 8-10

Junior Mini Camp is just like Junior Camp, but shorter. This is a 2-night program from Wednesday morning to Friday evening, and is a great opportunity to try camp out on a smaller scale, with only two nights away from home instead of five. Our Junior Mini campers are integrated into various cabins and always enjoy a big welcome from the full-week campers, immediately becoming a part of the group - just as if they had been there since Sunday. If you or your child wants to give camp a try, but you're not ready for a full week apart, Junior Mini Camp is the perfect option!

Adventure Camp
Ages 14-18
Dates July 5-10, July 19-24

This unique program raises the intensity with real rock climbing, a 20-mile canoe trip, an extensive Gel Blaster experience, and access to our entire high ropes course! Prepare to be challenged and encouraged to grow during this intimate week of teambuilding, limited to only 20 campers. Adventure Camp includes small group Bible studies and opportunities to really get to know your fellow campers as you laugh and grow together. Due to high demand, you can only sign up for one week, so don’t wait! (If space is still available the week before the program begins, we may allow registrations for a second week of Adventure Camp.) If you are looking for the ultimate small-group outdoor camp experience, this is the week for you!
